Token holder
An individual who has been issued and holds
an access control token.
Token Number
Coded number stored in the access control
token (card or fob).
Transaction
An event which corresponds to the release
of an access point following recognition of a
user identity
Two users access condition
Procedure which ensures that access
is granted provided two users have
demonstrated their right of access within a
preset period.
Unmonitored
Does not sense the open/closed status of
the door.
Upload facility
Facility whereby the information stored in a
controller can be uploaded to the PC.
Users
A person requesting passage through an
access point
User Groups
Grouping of individuals who have common
access rights such as office staff , production
staff or security staff.
User identity
Information which is transferred directly or
via a token by the user to the recognition
equipment
User Tracking
Facility for identifying where a particular token
was last used.
Wiegand
A specific data communication industry
standard for the serial transmission of
information can vary from 26-54 bits.
